Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Capability to estimate repair costs to ensure proper financial management and efficiency.
- Responsibility to inspect and test engines in order to diagnose and isolate faults to ensure proper maintenance and safety of equipment.
- Ability to adjust, repair, or replace mechanical or electrical system components to ensure proper maintenance and functionality of equipment.
- Responsibility to perform scheduled maintenance and service to ensure proper maintenance and longevity of equipment.
- Capability to advise customers on the work performed and the condition of the equipment to ensure proper communication and collaboration with customers.
- Requirement to review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor to ensure proper management and organization of work.
- Ability to test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with regulations.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Fluency in the English language to ensure proper communication and understanding.
- Possession of a certificate or diploma in other trades or equivalent experience to ensure proper education and knowledge.
- At least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry to ensure proper skills and expertise.
- Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification as well as a Motorcycle Mechanic Red Seal Certificate to ensure proper certification and expertise in the field.
Experience and specialization
Area of specialization
- The candidate must be skilled in the repair of motorcycles, snowmobiles, watercraft, and all terrain vehicles (ATV).

- The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal background check as well as a driving record check (abstract).

- The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
